Understanding Quotas and Limits

NeonCV uses a robust entitlement ledger to track your usage in real-time. Here is a detailed breakdown of what each quota means:

• Job Profiles: The maximum number of distinct job-seeker profiles you can store and customize in your account.
• Total Resumes: The total number of resumes (including Agent Resumes and Canvas Resumes) you can store in your account. Canvas resumes now support favoriting.
• AI CV Edits: Monthly quota for AI-powered edits to your existing CVs.
• AI-agent Generated CVs: The number of times you can use the AI generator to instantly build a new, tailored resume or CV from scratch based on a specific job description (uses expensive AI generation credits). Paid plans reset this quota monthly.
• Job Tracker: The maximum number of job applications you can log, monitor, and track through your dashboard.
• AI Job Assistant messages: This acts as your budget for interacting with the AI Job Assistant. Higher limits allow for deeper, longer conversational sessions and more context retention.
• Huddles: Find & Chat with other job applicants: A community chat to collaborate, discuss, and strategize with other candidates tracking the same roles or companies.
• Intelligence: Interview Insights & Company Research (Coming Soon): Advanced AI research capabilities to help you deeply prepare for upcoming job interviews.

Behaviour on Quota Exhaustion

• Numeric Quotas: The system shows a usage meter for these limits within your dashboard. When a quota is exhausted, the action is safely blocked and an upgrade prompt is displayed.
• Boolean Features (gated): Features like the Analytics Dashboard are either enabled or disabled based on your active subscription tier. If disabled, the feature is hidden or displays an upgrade call-to-action.

Fair Use Policy

To ensure high availability for all users, NeonCV employs abuse protection mechanisms. Automated scripts, bots, or unnatural generation frequency may trigger temporary rate limits or account suspension. AI token budgets and context windows are hard caps per request to ensure rapid response times and prevent model timeouts.
