CV Builder Overview

NeonCV generates CVs as PDFs using AI and LaTeX rendering. The workflow is: generate, review, edit via AI instruction, then download.

Workflow

Enter a job description (or target role) on the home page.
Optionally select a persona to tailor content.
Configure advanced parameters: design style, length, language, paper size, match mode.
Click Generate to produce a CV.
Review the generated PDF preview.
Use the AI Edit prompt to request changes if needed.
Re-generate and refine until satisfied.
Download the final PDF.

Design Styles

Choose from four preset styles that control the LaTeX template: Minimal, Recommended, Aesthetic, Graphical.

Advanced Parameters

Length: Single page or two pages.
Language: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch.
Paper Size: A4 or Letter.
Match Mode: Controls how strongly the AI tailors content to the job description.

Section Content

The AI determines sections based on the job description and persona. Common sections include Professional Summary, Work Experience, Education, Skills, Certifications, Languages, Projects.
