Use AI to improve your CV
NeonCV uses advanced AI modules to help you write, refine, and optimize your CV.
CV Generation
The primary AI feature: enter a job description, choose styling configurations, and pick an optional persona to generate a complete PDF CV. See Creating Your First CV.
AI Designer & Edit Prompts
After generation, you can send natural language instructions (e.g., "make the summary more concise", "add a section about Python", "focus on cloud scaling") to rewrite the CV. Under advanced options, you can also inject custom system directives as high-priority instructions to guide the AI formatting.
Persona Import
Paste raw text (from an existing CV, notes, or LinkedIn profile) and click Import with AI. The AI parses and reformats the text into structured markdown personas.
AI Job Assistant (Tracker Chat)
On the tracker detail page for individual job applications, you can open an AI chat with your AI Job Assistant to prepare for interviews, analyze your fit, or mock-interview. This chat is available to all users by default and includes a quick-reset action.

Your CV data is used only to generate/improve your content within the current session and is not shared with third parties.
