Job & Company Huddles

The Job & Company Huddle is a community-driven feature designed to help you connect, collaborate, and strategize with other candidates who are tracking the exact same job roles or companies as you.

What is a Huddle?

Instead of navigating the interview process alone, Huddles provide a dedicated, secure discussion space. When you track an application for a specific company (e.g., "Google" or "Stripe") or a specific role (e.g., "Frontend Engineer"), you can join the respective Huddle to share insights.

Features

• Real-time Discussions: Chat with other applicants about interview timelines, assessment difficulty, and hiring manager expectations.
• Salary Transparency: Share and view anonymous salary expectations and offers to ensure you negotiate the best possible compensation.
• Interview Stages: Gain visibility into what stage of the process other candidates are currently in, helping you gauge if a company has frozen hiring or is moving fast.

How to Join

1. Navigate to your Job Tracker dashboard.
2. Add a new application or click on an existing tracked application.
3. If a Huddle exists for that Company or Role, a "Join Huddle" button will appear on the application card.
4. Click to instantly enter the discussion room.

Anonymity & Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. By default, your identity is anonymized in Huddles. You are assigned a unique, random avatar and pseudonym (e.g., Anonymous Engineer). You can safely discuss sensitive topics like salary negotiations or take-home assignments without fear of employers tracking your identity.

Note: You can choose to reveal your NeonCV public profile in a Huddle if you wish to network directly with other members.

Premium Access

Job & Company Huddles are available exclusively to users on the Pro and Ultra plans. Free users can see if a Huddle is active but must upgrade to participate in the discussion.
